Marchal was an innovative genius who cast off the heaviness of 19th century interpretation to clarify Baroque polyphony. He is heard in a work by Vierne, dedicated to him. Our restoration, using Sonic Depth Technology, allows one to hear historic organ recordings bearing a contemporary sound.

A long awaited first release of David Borden's music, performed by his Mother Mallard's Portable Masterpiece Company in 1976-1977 is now available. Borden and his group used Moog synthesizer prototypes, becoming the first live Moog band ever, and utilizing the instruments to develop a style associated with Minimalism. These unique performances capture the rare analog synthesizer in newly created works. Borden contributed a lengthy text on the evolution of his style.

The Amar-Hindemith Quartet, formed by Paul Hindemith, existed from 1921-1928 and was the foremost interpreter of new music. Their performances were guided by the perspective of a composer's insight and thus reveal musical structure in a unique way. The Bartók 2nd Quartet is a premiere recording.
