It leaves one breathless to experience a great musician's art. This little guide wishes to point a finger towards those musical geniuses who embody the heights of what was known as Classical Music.While favoring pianists, we will eventually include the great instrumentalists from string and keyboard genres, as well as the most significant art forms of non-Western music. As our project develops, most entries will include a muscial performance which will be available for downloading. It is hoped that those unfamiliar with these incredible musicians will experience new-found joy in discovering their playing and in the writings, a guide to the culutral base behind the art

Arbiter invites suggestions for entries and any offers of source material (primary sources: recordings, interviews with the artists, their pupils, writings) to be considered for inclusion.
